You will be qualified to work in residential, business, or rural sales throughout Perth and Western Australia after completing this course. You can also work as a company broker, buyer's agent, or in other sales-related positions. The certificate you will earn after finishing this course does not, however, qualify you to start your own agency or to engage in property management.

There are 13 online units in the Restricted Sales Registration Course WA, and you have 12 months to finish them.

You must have access to dependable internet and a desktop or laptop computer in order to enrol in and finish this course.

When you enrol, we encourage you to go at your own pace — whichever is most comfortable for you! We don't impose deadlines, put you under strain, or cause tension. We are aware that many of our Perth students are already juggling employment and school or have extremely busy schedules. We're here to support you, so don't worry. All we ask is that you concentrate on the deadline you set for yourself. Additionally, you will have access to a tutor when you need one the most thanks to our after-hours student support.

How much time is spent on this course?

You should be aware that there are no completion deadlines while deciding whether or not to enrol in the Restricted Sales Registration Course WA. At National Property College, we adjust our schedule to fit yours rather than the other way around.

 

Our students report they complete all the assessments for this course in 4 to 8 weeks on average.

What is the purpose of completing this programme?

You are qualified to operate in real estate sales thanks to the Restricted Sales Registration course WA! You can work in a variety of sales-related positions, including buyers' agents, commercial, residential, and rural sales.

 

This course is not for you if you want to work in property management. You won't be permitted to start your own agency either.

What will this qualification enable me to do?

You must submit a statement of attainment to be eligible for Restricted Sales Registration in Washington. After you successfully complete your course, National Property College (RTO 45908) issues this to you.

You can apply for restricted sales registration with the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS), which is the industry standard in WA for real estate, once you receive your declaration of attainment from National Property College. You'll be able to use this to enter the industry's real estate sales and other sales-related positions.

What units will I complete?

The restricted sales registration is made up of 13 units. These 13 units are as follows:

  • CPPREP4001 Prepare for professional practice in real estate

  • CPPREP4002 Access and interpret ethical practice in real estate

  • CPPREP4003 Access and interpret legislation in real estate

  • CPPREP4004 Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate

  • CPPREP4005 Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts

  • CPPREP4101 Appraise property for sale or lease

  • CPPREP4102 Market property

  • CPPREP4103 Establish vendor relationships

  • CPPREP4104 Establish buyer relationships

  • CPPREP4105 Sell property

Electives (Select 3 out of the following units):

  • CPPREP4201 Appraise commercial property

  • CPPREP4202 Establish and maintain vendor and lessor relationships and networks

  • CPPREP4203 Complete commercial property sale

  • CPREP4204 Establish commercial property lease

Note the course includes some units from the Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP414119).

Are there formal entrance requirements for this course?

Admission Requirements for both qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older at course commencement.

  • Satisfactory completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent

  • Mature age students may also be considered without the minimum education requirements but with relevant work experience within chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet course requirements.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience would normally be expected but each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidenced by work reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered.

Provide English language skills either by:

  • Evidence of English tests, e.g., IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

  • Achieved a pass result in level 3/4 VCE English or VCE ESL or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years study at an AQF level 4 or higher completed in Australia.
