There are five units for you to finish in our Assistant Agent Course (Certificate of Registration NSW). The Assistant Agent course is offered by National Property College as a live virtual workshop or as a self-paced online course. Monthly sessions are conducted through Google teams.

How much time is spent on this course?

What is the purpose of completing this programme?

Admission Requirements for both qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older at course commencement.

  • Satisfactory completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent

  • Mature age students may also be considered without the minimum education requirements but with relevant work experience within chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet course requirements.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience would normally be expected but each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidenced by work reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered.

Provide English language skills either by:

  • Evidence of English tests, e.g., IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

  • Achieved a pass result in level 3/4 VCE English or VCE ESL or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years study at an AQF level 4 or higher completed in Australia.

What will this qualification enable me to do?

An assistant agent can: while working under the supervision of a qualified real estate agent:

 

  • assist with residential and commercial property sales

  • assist with real estate marketing initiatives

  • assist in providing property management services

  • assist with consumer advocacy services

Are there formal entrance requirements for this course?

Before starting the course, you must satisfy an LLN (Language Literacy and Numeracy) test. Additionally, you have to apply for a unique student identification number (USI). You can do this when signing up for the course.
