Have you ever considered working in the Australian Capital Territory as a real estate agent? The ACT Certificate of Registration course (Assistant Agent) is the correct course for you if you're new to the real estate business or want to start along the path to a successful real estate career.

 

You can work as an assistant agent for a real estate agent who is licenced in the areas of real estate sales, marketing, and property management after completing the National Property College ACT Certificate of Registration course (Assistant Agent). You'll be able to enter Canberra real estate agencies with this entry-level credential!

 

This real estate course consists of five fundamental study units. You can apply to Access Canberra for an ACT Certificate of Registration once you have successfully completed the course successfully.

 

The Certificate of Registration ACT (Assistant Agent course) is available from National Property College as a self-paced online program or as a live, online workshop. Google teamst Teams is used to host the workshops each month.

What is the purpose of completing this programme?

To work in sales, leasing, or property management in the ACT, you must get a Certificate of Registration ACT.

What will this qualification enable me to do?

The following five units compose up the course:

 

CPPREP4001 Get ready for real estate professional practise

CPPREP4002 Access and understand real estate ethics

CPPREP4003 Access and comprehend real estate legislation

CPPREP4004 Create real estate marketing and communication profiles

CPPREP4005 Make sure you're ready to work with real estate trust accounts.

You can apply for a real estate Certificate of Registration in Canberra after successfully completing the units in our ACT Certificate of Registration course.

Are there formal entrance requirements for this course?

Admission Requirements for both qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older at course commencement.

  • Satisfactory completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent

  • Mature age students may also be considered without the minimum education requirements but with relevant work experience within chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet course requirements.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience would normally be expected but each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidenced by work reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered.

Provide English language skills either by:

  • Evidence of English tests, e.g., IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

  • Achieved a pass result in level 3/4 VCE English or VCE ESL or equivalent.

  • Minimum of two (2) years study at an AQF level 4 or higher completed in Australia.
